Rooftop Ticket FAQ

When does my Lakeview Baseball Club Wrigley Rooftop Party Start?
Your party begins one hour before the Cubs game time, and ends one half hour after.

What rules apply to the consumption of alcohol?
Chicago city ordinances pertaining to responsible drinking apply – we are required to stop serving alcohol to anyone we believe is “overserved” at our discretion. Beer and wine are served. Alcohol service concludes at the end of the 7th inning. Plenty of non-alcoholic beverages are available throughout the entire game.

How long will the catering last?
Our grill is turned off in the top of the 7th inning, but the food trails off into the 8th inning. Desserts are served in the 5th inning.

What happens if there is bad weather?
Don’t worry, there is plenty of fun indoors, and we have enough indoor space for everyone! There will be a full refund if the Chicago Cubs cancel the game before its scheduled start time. There will otherwise be no exceptions. If your group has assembled on the roof and wishes to stay after the scheduled start time has past, no refund will be issued.

Once the game has started, there will be no refund regardless of rain delays, postponements, or cancellations. If the game is rescheduled or postponed, the lessee has 14 days to rebook the make-up game date (and the make-up game date only) for a $40.00 per person inclusive fee for up to the original number of guests booked.

Can my group hang banners or signs?
Unfortunately, as per our agreement with the Cubs, no banners or signs facing the park will be permitted. Only banners and advertising completely visible from the confines of the facility will be allowed for display.

How does payment work?
A 50% deposit is due immediately upon the signing of our contract. The balance is due one month before the event. Once the season begins, we change to a 50% deposit and the balance due one month prior to the game. We accept check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Card.

What is the menu?
Our rooftop has its own personal chef that grills your food on site. He takes a lot of pride in providing you with the tastiest meal possible.

Here is what our menu consists of:

Entrees
-The LVBC Burger: 1/4 pound gourmet hamburgers and cheeseburgers (American or Pepper Jack cheese). Our hamburgers are 100% organic grass fed beef, raised on The Brixen ivy Ranch in Elizzabeth, Illinois.
-The DiMaggio: Italian beef sandwich served on Chicago’s own D’amato’s bread topped with mozzarella cheese
-Eisenberg’s hot dogs
-Italian Sausage with grilled onions and peppers topped with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella
-In Fowl Territory: 6 oz. chicken breast sandwiches
-The Ivy Burger: Veggie burgers (non-soy based)
-Full array of fresh toppings and condiments

Taste of Paris, our exclusive caterer, prepares the following:
-Southwest Orzo Salad: Black beans, corn, red bell pepper, orzo pasta
-Baby Russet Potato salad, with bell peppers and asparagus tossed in a champagne vinaigrette
-Bowtie Pasta salad with fresh seasonal vegetables in a raspberry vinaigrette
-Seasonal Fruit Salad
-Mixed Vegetables Tray with hummus
-Assorted bagged chips (Fritos, Doritos, Cool Ranch Doritos, Cheetos, and regular Lays potato chips)

Desserts
Our caterer bakes our deserts every morning, so the cookie or brownie you’re enjoying is as fresh as possible.
-Freshly Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies
-Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
-White Macadamia Nut Cookies
-Double chocolate and caramel “LVBC Brownies”

If you would like something you don’t see, please ask.

We serve Goose Island’s 312, Brooklyn Lager, Shiner Bock, Heineken, Corona beers, Woodchuck Hard Cider, as well as Miller, Budweiser, and Coors products, and O’Douls. We carry two different red wines (merlot, cabernet, or a blend) and two white wines (Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay). Our non alcoholic beverages include regular and diet Coke, Sprite, Sprite Zero, Dr. Pepper, lemonade, iced tea, club soda, and bottled water.  If you have a specific beverage need, please ask. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Does your rooftop have an elevator?
No.

Can we order Custom Cubs hats, T-shirts, etc, for our group?
Yes! Lakeview Baseball Club has Partnered with Sports World / Sportswordchicago.com located right at the corner of Clark and Addison. By ordering through this link, you can receive a 10% discount on volume orders: http://www.sportsworldchicago.com/customer/signup.

You’ll just be asked to register with Sports World and fill in that you’ve been referred by Brixen Ivy to receive the discount. Do you have any transportation suggestions?

Is there a place to leave my bag?
Lakeview Baseball Club does not have a private and secure closet that can accommodate your personal belongings, therefore it is best not to bring anything of value to the rooftops.

Refund Policy

If the event is cancelled due to rain PRIOR to the scheduled start a full refund will be issued. If your group has assembled on the roof and wishes to stay after the scheduled start time has past, no refund will be issued. Once your group has participated in any food or beverage service no refund shall be issued. Once the game has started, there will be no refund, regardless of rain delays, postponements, or cancellations.
